Ways to Give

However you choose to give, it helps local children and families.

Make a Donation

Financial gifts help NCTR respond where support is needed most, from Christmas gifts and holiday groceries to shoes and school supplies.

The Toy Run needs thousands of new gifts every December for children and teens.

New, unwrapped toys, stuffed animals, stocking stuffers, books, games, clothing, jackets, gift cards, teen gifts, and other age-appropriate items.

Year-Round Physical Donation Drop-Offs

The following businesses are owned by Nevada County Toy Run board members and can accept physical donations year-round. Please call ahead to arrange a drop-off.

Help Provide Holiday Meals

Each family receiving grocery assistance can choose a turkey, ham, or chicken, along with a sack of potatoes and the traditional holiday fixings.

Food donations and financial support help put holiday meals on local tables.

Support Back-to-School Assistance

Through A Ride For Hope and Hope for Nevada County, NCTR helps provide shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and other resources.

Every Gift Adds Up

It all becomes part of the same community effort.
